Aerial gymnastics, or an aerial dance, is a type of a circus art impressing people from 1959. That year one of the French students of the circus school decided to try fabric canvases as a requisite for her gymnastic performance. That was a beginning of a new type of an aerial art. Air ring deserves a special attention. It is one of the most graceful and enchanting movements in the aerial gymnastics combining strength, grace, lightness and fearlessness of artists who create an impression of  total impossibility and unreality.

Many elements and tricks performed inside and outside of a metal hula hoop with different dynamics without any safety equipment create an effect of unreality. Air ring dance is a tender and beautiful dance based on a circus art of aerial gymnastics on an air ring full of plastique, acrobatics and eroticism.
